Magnesium chloride – magnesium flakes

Magnesium chloride is most often found in the form of small flakes. This is a consequence of the crystallization process, especially when the mineral is obtained from salt water. It is a natural and most common form of this valuable chemical compound.

What is magnesium chloride?

Magnesium chloride is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula MgCl2, which belongs to the group of salts. It occurs in the form of white-grey petals or granules. Its feature is high hygroscopicity, that is, ease of binding to water and solubility in it. Thanks to this, as well as thanks to its healing properties, it is often used for magnesium baths and as a solution of body soothing specifics (magnesium water, magnesium oil or special deodorants).
